Its almost the weekend...

LIFE:
It’s a new day... a new beginning. What is life really about? Is it about finishing first? Last? Somewhere in the middle? Hell what’s the prize? Is it right or moral to feel so competitive. What really are we seeking in life?

Are you happy?
Are you sad?
Are you doing what you can to make your life better?
What about someone else’s?
Is timing everything? Or just some shnit they say to make you feel better bout something that aint go your way?

You know what I hate most… when people say “ ____________ is good. It builds character.” Put any word you want, adversity, rejection, etc in the blank. Where they read that shnit at? And who wrote that mess? I bet it was not Harvard or Rhode Scholar.

A poem….
The cool breeze came into my life and set me back.
Had me thinking bout this and that.
Why did it make me feel this way.
Is it the smell or the words it say
I am no Common, TuPac or Biggie
Why is my name nor pic in your siggie?
I think of you and want to touch
Why are you on my mind so much.
But just like the breeze you are gone…
Wondering what the fawks going on.

*I aint no artist….I am just putting down words.*

Randomness:
Romeo Chips: I discovered these things lsat night on the train home. Dayum they good!!!

Explain to me talking on the phone all nite. What da hell you saying that last that long? I miss, I want you, wish you were here? Why not get the fawk out of the house and go over there?

Happy Hour was good….drinks were flowing. White folks are crazy but they keep on po’ing! Its hard not to drink when they tossin round those (credit) cards.

PERSONAL MOMENT:
I moved back to DC on October 2, 2006 to take a job here. I was in North Carolina for a number of years and now its time to be home. I enjoyed my time and prolly will miss it. I miss the Frat and my Executive Board position. Being up here it’s hard to maintain, but they call me everyday wanting to hear my opinion on an item or matter. When are our undergrad gonna learn that the WOOD aint always good. It serves a purpose, but that purpose is long lost. I never learned nothing with my @ss in the red. Education and bonding occurs in the head. I own businesses and property throughout the state …. DC is different and I gotta learn her again. Gotta think on if I am gonna evict my tenants… I like my brownstone. Its three-stories high with a beautiful view of the city and the street! I am living at my mom’s house in my room I grew up in and it feels real good – for now!! I am not in a rush. I got 23 more months of rotations, so I cant settle to fast. But dayum aint nothing like mom’s home cooking!!
