What I am thankful for...

LIFE in general... often times folks get caught up in BULLSHNIT! PS3, Dancing Elmos, 'chasin the $$$', etc but sometimes, you have to stand down and WATCH THE TREES GROW!!

God gives us 'breath' every morning and we never (yeah whatever you bible thumpers 'i know you do it all the time' SURE!....) say THANKS. People pray for stuff all the time... but as Joyce Meyers http://www.joycemeyer.com states: "sometime you need to just say "Thank you". Just say THANKS some time.... I have had a good year thus far and I cant think of where any of this would lead me if I aint ask "Lord....where you taking me?" I aint gonna make this religiousy or nothing,but for real... this year... just say THANKS!

Randomness:
1) What you do with yourself that leaves an impression on others is what you will be JUDGED by.
2) I missed a party this past weekend due to my indecisiveness.
3) Kool breeze... *keep blowing... cause I keep thinking*
4) Procrastination is gonna be the death of me... but hell if I am late to my 'death', I may gain a few more minutes! What ya think?

Ross-Rachel Dating….

I can’t do it. I thought I could, but I can’t. AM I selfish… am I real…. Or I just ‘black’. I am being honest here. You know how black folks are… if you go out once or twice or you even *smash* even though you have not committed to one another, you still kinda don’t want no one else dating or ‘hitting’. Black folks…we Monica-Chandler date. It’s like boom... me and you – no titles, but …we dating/fawking and no dating other people. The Ross-Rachel thing is not for me – but I will continue to try for it may be the best for the both of us.

Whats Ross-Rachel dating? That is where you both date other people but still have ties to one another that wont allow you to commit to another person for you are wanting to be with the other but dating folks til you two make up your mind that you want to be together. ----- > Yes I am a black man from the 70’s who watches Friends. What is it about that Kool Breeze?

It wakes me up in the middle of the night wanting to let it in…
It wakes me up in the morning texting like no end…
It makes me madd in one instance and joyful the next…
And I aint ever gonna tell you bout the madd longlasting sex.
Mean mugging and ignoring me only turned me on…
Holding that breeze all morning long.

Getting "DC Mean"…

Gawd…. I am getting mean again. I was a mean street thug nikka from North East DC (Lincoln Heights/ 58th Street area), then, I grew up. I moved to NC and got educated and more so countrified. I learned and respected the joy of life. I learned that life is not a rush… and sometimes you have to stop and BREATHE. You see… at 5pm, I don’t run for the train. I don’t hurry along and rush down the elevator/escalator. I stroll (as one lady put it). I move along with the crowd, but I am chill with myne. I just got my countryness on and enjoying my life… But the more and more I ride the train and see stupid shhit, the more I get madd. I get frustrated with folks and their lack of motivation. There CONTENTMENT with mediocrity. Da hell…

Personality traits… are these things that you CHOOSE to accept or are they something that you develop? Who da hell chooses to be whack? Mediocre? Sub-par?
